Field Service Technician

Ram Mechanical Ltd., located in Burnaby, BC, is a well established and reputable mechanical contractor looking for an experienced Service Technician.  We service multi-unit residential buildings, commercial and industrial buildings and institutional buildings. We specialize in boiler retrofits and servicing heating systems, but we also address other mechanical systems. We are looking to fill a vacancy in our Service Department. The preferred candidate will:

Primary Duties:

• Attend to calls from clients relating to their mechanical system needs
• Troubleshoot problems and find an effective solution
• Provide annual maintenance service

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum 3 years experience in similar environment
• TQ in the piping trades
• Class B or Class A gasfitter
• Skilled in repair, maintenance and installation of all components of heating systems (Boilers, Controls, Pumps and Mixing Valves)
• Discipline to work alone
• Good communication skills, both verbally and written
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to provide a clean Criminal Records Check
• Must be well organized
• Respectful, honest and trustworthy
